Dr Carl is an process engineer with over 20 years’ consulting experience in environmental and chemical engineering, air and water quality management as well as environmental sustainability. He has broad industry experience in mining, water utilities and heavy industry and has been an accredited consultant for several government led sustainability and energy efficiency programs. Dr Carl has also provided specialist technical and expert witness advice to industry, advocate organisations, and local, state and territory Australian government. As Group Lead Engineer for Advitech’s Process Engineering team, Carl applies his experiences to champion process performance, safety and compliance especially in the fields of hazardous area classification, dangerous goods, hazard assessment, source of release and dispersion modelling using approved methods. Carl has conducted multiple hazard assessments, process safety reviews and safety audits as well as numerous hazardous area classification studies for mining, Defence, food, pharmaceutical, water utilities, various universities and the oil and gas industry.
