Umesh is a Principal Engineer and brings comprehensive experience working within engineering consultancy and design teams focusing on a variety of multidisciplinary engineering services for a wide range of clients, including those in mining, industrial, defense, and downstream oil and gas sectors. His main areas of expertise include Fuel System Design, Dangerous Goods (DG) management, Hazardous Area Classification, with a specific emphasis on process engineering design, implementation, design and project management. Umesh has broad experience working with clients undertaking the role of DG/EO/HAC and FUEL system design consultant on various energy projects across Australia that involve fuel facility design, peer review, DG assessment, HAC, site investigations. Furthermore, Umesh is an Accredited Dangerous Goods Consultant with the Australian Institute of Dangerous Goods Consultants (AIDGC) and the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) in Western Australia. His expertise assists clients by conducting dangerous goods risk assessments, compliance checks, and certifications for Dangerous Goods Storage and Handling Facilities. This includes Classes 2, 3, 4, 5.1, 6.1, 8, and 9 dangerous goods, providing valuable insights and assurance regarding regulatory compliance and best practices.
